On Friday, Putin stated that he is open to discussing the war in Ukraine with Trump and suggested that such a meeting would be a good idea. Speaking with a Russian state TV journalist, Putin said, "We trust the statements from the former president about his willingness to work together. We are always ready for discussions and cooperation."
When asked about his first international trip if reelected, Trump mentioned it could be to Saudi Arabia or the United Kingdom.
